We’ve used in this study only real parameters of the SABER-M60, such as maximum and minimum ranges, operating ceiling, opening angle, angular adjustment, and minimum distance between radars.
But the Desirable Detection Distance is based on these three factors: employment parameters of the enemy air vector; characteristics of available antiaircraft weapons; and the duration of the engagement process, according to the armed force doctrine.
So, according to the proposed methodology, the distance does not take into account the parameters of the radar to be allocated.
